Estlanders´ aim is a winning design of a 75 square metre skerry cruiser

The boat designer Gustaf Estlander have with the support of drawings announced the ambition to build the fastest skerry cruiser in the 75 square meter class. The project will be carried out together with Estlanders´ business partner in Germany, Mr Richard Borck. Together they run Papst Werft in Köpenick outside Berlin, where the boat will be built. The boat will be given the longest dimensions so far for a 75 square meter with just over 17 meters length overall and a displacement around 7 tons!

The boat will during its first season race in Finland and Sweden under the German flag and Sailing Club Ahoi mainly by Borck but also by Estlander. At the end of the season, the goal is to sell the boat to interested racing sailors who presumably wants to acquire a winner at an assumed profit to the sellers.
